It is my pleasure to introduce our company, Mellow Mood Ltd and the range of services and activities in we are currently active. Since 1995, our company has specialized in providing a range of accommodation and destination services and reliable information for visitors to Hungary, and we still maintain a prominent role in Hungary’s market. Our business has expanded to include incoming and outgoing travel agency services and international study and work programmes. For visitors and residents we also provide airport and railway transfer services.

Our range of accommodation is continually evolving and improving. Travellers' Youth Hostels Hungary began as a group of university and secondary school dormitories throughout Budapest, operated during the high seasons. This group now represents the majority of hostels in Budapest. Our properties are in convenient locations around Budapest, often near major public transport routes.

Our premier hostel properties are open all year: Hostel Marco Polo, is a purpose-built hostel, popular for its very high standards of rooms and facilities, located near to many nightspots. Mellow Mood Central Hostel is at the heart of the city, close to the central Metro station, giving easy access to all parts of Budapest.

We also operate hotels in Budapest: Hotel Fortuna, a 3-star, family hotel in a quiet residential area and Hotel Baross, an elegantly furnished 40 room, 3-star hotel in an art-deco building in the heart of the city, which includes apartment facilities. One of our newest Star Hotel, opened in April 2004 is well-equipped 3–star property located close to the Eastern Railway station. Last, but definitely not least is the brand new Atlas Hotel, a large 3 star hotel in the heart of Pest. 136 spacious guestrooms with facilities suitable for groups, families and business travelers.

MellowMood Travel Agency services deals offers liaison services for incoming groups, and makes arrangements for outgoing travel as well as sales of travel products such as insurance and discount and membership cards. We also hold the rights to sell ISIC and Euro<26 discount cards at our central reservation and International Hostel information office. This is the latest addition to our tourist information booths at Budapest’s major train stations: Keleti (Eastern) and Déli (Southern).

We created an exclusive sightseeing service - See Budapest Tours - that offers quality city tours in Budapest and day-trips in Hungary with air-conditioned, spacious vehicles and friendly, professional guides. A local can always tell you more – we employ strictly Hungarian guides only, and I personally expect that they do a good job. We also believe that multi-lingual guiding, headphone monologues, recorded presentations, industrial-size groups and the following of umbrellas went out of fashion already. Therefore our goal is that our tours be informative conversations in small groups (maximum 14 guests per guide), rich in historical, political and current affairs information. Enjoy!

Our Rail Bus service provides door-to-door transport between all parts of Budapest, railway stations and Ferihegy airport. With comfortable, modern minibuses and friendly staff, our clients receive a quality service at a budget price. Our offices in the Eastern Railway station also offer internet access, reservations and useful tourist information.

Mellow Mood Ltd is currently in partnership with several travel agents, tour operators and tourism organisations locally and globally.
